Update Sept. 2000

Well, here we are in our new house. We still have a lot to do. Jeff is struggling to get a back yard going, it looks better than he thinks. Molly likes having the space that’s for sure!
I’m getting ready to paint the dining room with Whitbury Red by Ralph Lauren Paints or as normal folks call it Cranberry. Jeff thinks I’m going to mess up the hardwoods and I probably will.
The sectional is due in next week. Considering it was a three week lead time and this is almost three months, we’ll believe it when we see it. Don’t buy anything from Carolina Sofa/Leather on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.
We have new neighbors, Wes and Jennifer, that we already like a great deal. They too are here for the long haul. Jennifer is pregnant with their first baby, due in January. We are excited have neighbors with so much in common!
It is still nice and sunny but getting cooler in the evening. I’m still working way too much but what is new? I think iHigh is about to turn the corner. I’m very pleased with the content direction we are going in. And as always, my NC state site is #1 of all the iHigh sites. And as always uncbasketball.com is going well, minus licensing issues with UNC. My alumni page for CHHS, chhsalumni.com is doing positive as well, time to ‘commercialize’ it a bit.
And don’t asked me about Carolina Football right now. I’m definitely bullish on Carolina basketball, men and womens. And we all know Jeff is still thrilled with Virginia Tech football.
Our friends Heather and Josh are pregnant with baby number three. Big sister Emily and soon-to-be big brother Ben are looking forward to the new addition as well.
We are going to stay home for the Holidays. Everyone is welcome here of course! Start sending me recipes or phone numbers for Hickory Hams (ha-ha).
