We went to the Carolina Rollergirls Roller Derby and it was such fun to watch.
Hayley was in love with watching them race around and thump each other – I fear she’ll run away to join them. She was so energetic early on but since she had a swim meet this morning, she eventually hit the wall and crawled up in Daddy’s lap (note the mugging for the camera).
Carolina lost to the NYC Gotham team but it was a good time anyway! A tip – horrible hard seats in Dorton Arena so if you go, bring your own bag chairs and sit down on the floor.

If you liked that you should definitely go to the Eastern Regionals tournament that they’re hosting in early September — three days of derby action featuring 10 of the best teams up the East Coast. It’s going to be AMAZING.
