Robo-Dino!

Hayley and Jeff have been constructing this robotic dinosaur and have taken photos over time as they worked on it. It is finally done – the eyes light up and it roars and rumbles.

Halloween and Thanksgiving

I didn’t take many photos at Halloween or Thanksgiving. Between having a party for Halloween with Jen for the street and having the usual gang for Thanksgiving, I just didn’t pick up the camera much. A neighbor has more Halloween ones of the kids and I’ll those when I get them.

UNC Alumni Basketball Game

I’m slowly getting though my photo backlog! These are photos and videos that Hayley took at the UNC Alumni Basketball game in September at UNC. We had great seats and had so much fun – seeing all the active pros was awesome but Dean and Michael Jordan just took it over the top. The unveiling of the 2009 NCAA Title banner and the addition of Jordan’s name to the Naismith Hall of Fame banner were really just amazing.

Visit from Hayley’s first family

As most of you know, Hayley was adopted and we have a pretty open adoption with her first family. Hayley’s sisters, bmom and her husband, grandmother and granddad visited us here in November for a nice Sunday of lunch and goofing off.

I was taking photos with three cameras and for some reason didn’t end up taking the last couple of photos they posted for with my camera but we got a lot of cute ones.

  • Video game note: Hayley loves video games so if you want to get her something not on the list, that’s fine too. She has a Nintendo DS, XBox 360, Playstation 2 and Wii. If it is a single player game, go Nintendo DS or Playstation 2, if it is multi-player go with Wii or XBox 360.
  • Clothes note: She is a size 10/12 but she’s very fickle about clothes.

    I have lots of photos to post but I had to post this hysterical little animation short we found on youtube. UNC beat Duke in football last night and Hansborough had his NBA debut on Friday night so it is semi-relevant, right?
    Make sure you watch until the VERY end – don’t stop when you see the black screen and animator’s name.
