We lucked out and were given some wonderful seats (third row, center of the court) by Charlie, a friend from the site Michelle works at. Hayley was all dressed up in her gear – got to meet Ramses, cheerleaders and a handful of players.

With Jeff, Michelle, Hayley, Uncle Jay, Granddad John, Grandma Sharen and Grandpa Tommy, we hit the UNC-VT game.
We had a great time, by the second half we had everyone sitting together and having a blast.
Hayley got to wear her winter UNC cheerleading uniform and we all got to enjoy a really good football game.

As most of you know, Jeff & I are obsessive college sports fans. We love to collect UNC (me) and VT (Jeff) stuff – the pile got to be extensive enough where we devoted an entire room to it.
I’d say it is about 60% UNC stuff, 40% VT stuff. And since I took the photos, I’m highlighting some of my favorite UNC stuff.

Well, having FRONT row seats certainly has its benefits – one of which was a ton of good photos from the game on UNC Saturday.
Playing was Jamison, Stackhouse, Walter Davis, Capel, Forte, Haywood, McInnis, Cota, Swikker, Shammond, Larry Davis, JR Reid, Sam Perkins, Derrick Phelps, Brian Reese, Donald Williams and Terence Newby.
Tons of guys were back who didn’t play – Kenny Smith was the master of ceremonies. You had Phil Ford, Rick Fox, Joe Wolf, Al Wood, Randy Wiel and Charlie Scott on the bench. The present 2003 guys hung out all over the place. And you had alums like Warren Martin, Ndaiye, Montross, Charlie McNairy and others scattered all over the place. I’m sure I’m missing some people.
And they even tossed in some women’s players – including my all-time fav Pam Leake.
And the opponents had Anthony Grundy, Dauntay Jones, Chucky Brown, Delaney Rudd, Rusty Larue, Steve Blake, Chris Wilcox and others.
It got hot down the stretch and it turned into a real game too

After days holed up in the living room with laptops and Ben, we are about to end UNCB and launch the new IC site.
After oh so many offers, Ben felt like this one was truly the direction to go in. And after the issues over press access and the “UNC” part of the URL, this is the logical plan.
I did the new logo for IC and I really love it. Fitting since I designed the UNCB logo as well.
