Finally officially done! Hayley signed with Peace today to play soccer. She plans to major in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psych. We are so proud of her!
We are all really thrilled about this. Peace was my first choice for her all along and as the process went on, it became her and Jeff’s first choice too. We really like the soccer coach who is brand new this year and Hayley is already having fun getting to know her teammates next year.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped our daughter, academically, athletically or otherwise, over the years.

Took Hayley and Trey up to Hawksnest which had been converted to all tubing runs. I remember skiing there at night back in the day!

2015-16 RTHS Basketball

First a great video. This is from February – the end of the SECOND overtime. RTHS was down two points with about 9 seconds left. Alex ends up with the ball and throws it to Hayley who gets fouled with under 3 seconds left. She hits both and they cruise through the 3rd OT to win. I just love her making both with the loud booing.

Hayley and I went to a women’s sport shooting clinic where we learned about gun safety and try our hand at skeet, trap, archery and pistols. We both had a lot of fun! Can’t wait to go back for some more clinics.
RTHS Sports Banquet

Thursday night was the RTHS Athletic Banquet. Hayley got the Coach’s Award in both Basketball and Soccer and Honorable Mention All-Conference in soccer.

Had to go to the UNC-SDSU game to see the stripe out! Night games at Kenan are just so gorgeous – there is no place more beautiful for college football. My dad showed up and hung out for most of the game which was a nice gift too.
